| Position Summary: |
To assist the marketing department in promoting Kingston Technology in the European market place.
|
| Essential Functions: |
- To take ownership for the delivery of specific marketing projects either internally or with external agencies, such as collateral development, end-user and channel campaign generation and implementation, event planning, coordination and support.
- To drive execution of marketing projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
- To ensure appropriate marketing disciplines are applied to marketing projects ensuring effectiveness, appropriateness and consistency.
- To communicate with relevant stakeholders of Kingston (including the US team) on specific projects.
- To manage content on marketing Intranet.
- Ensure use of appropriate systems and databases to support the role including budget management, use of CMS tools and other Kingston (marketing and contact) databases.
- Understand, manage and control Kingston’s data applying Data Protection legislation.
- To work with Marcomm Manager in coordinating Kingston’s participation at local and pan-European events.
- To manage relationships with creative agencies and translation houses.
- To manage Kingston websites to ensure consistency with brand guidelines, manage look and feel, accuracy of content and analyse usage.
- To manage ad hoc marketing projects as they arise.
- To manage the creation, production, execution and delivery of online monthly newsletters and tactical communications to all Kingston audiences.
- Analyse Kingston’s communication strategy based on company requirements and objectives.
- Act as the support to the graphic designer taking on the creation and resizing of online and offline artwork.
- Manage internal goodies fulfilment system and processes.

Education / Qualifications: |
Ideally educated to degree-level or equivalent in marketing or a related field.
|
CIM qualified (Advanced Certificate or higher) or studying for a CIM would be desirable.
|
Experience / Knowledge: |
Strong background in Marketing (Ideally 2+ years experience)
A marcom/agency background with strong project management skills is essential.
English to business level is essential.
|
IT industry marketing experience is highly desirable.
A second European language would be an advantage.
|
Skills / Behaviours: |
Experience of using Excel, Word and PowerPoint to an intermediate level.
Experience of using CMS tools, internal systems and databases.
|
Experience of standard design software packages (Photoshop/Quark/In Design/Flash/Illustrator) would be an advantage.
|
